Advantages of Drilled and Slotted discs are to eliminate brake fade under continuous braking with or without loads. The drilled holes (or dimples) dissipate heat,gases and water improving the contact suface between brake pad and disc especially in wet conditions. The slots are designed to improve the brake pad biting contact improving braking efficiency. Combining the two together the results are greater wet braking efficiency with reduced brake fade especially under load.
Note. Drilled and slotted discs will not reduce braking distances. They must also be fitted in pairs.

Better braking
Brought to replace factory rotors on a series 4 from 2015. Originals where a pain to remove, at one point I thought they were not coming of as the rust had a rock solid hold. Took a hour and half to remove the drivers side with a sledge hammer and a 5ft pry bar. New rotors have what looks like a M8 threaded hold to aid in the removal which the originals did not have so removal later down the line is looked after. Cleaned all the rust of with brake cleaner and a wire brush and a nice coat of copper slip and jobs a guden! Seeing as they are new (with new pads) the difference is very noticeable and the price for the rotors is spot on. Delivery was bang on to. Will defo be using Milner again as the rears will need doing early next year, definitely a recommended company. Thanks Milner!!
